artist statement
The purpose of my art is to detach people from reality for a moment and transport them to a mysterious, dreamlike world. I want to create a space where you can slow down, feel, and dream. The goal is to connect with your own emotions: how does this work affect you? What feelings or memories come to mind? What story unfolds for you as a viewer? My work invites introspection and imagination—each image is a mirror in which you can discover your own interpretation. My work is largely abstract, although symbolic elements sometimes appear. What I like best is when people give their own interpretation. I love it when viewers use their imagination and ask themselves: how does this make me feel? What do I see in it? I believe that art appeals to the subconscious — and the diverse stories that viewers discover in my work never cease to surprise me. My style arose from a desire to escape reality. For me, art is an escape to a more colorful, lighter world where anything is possible.

My art is a way of making emotions tangible. I don't provide answers, but rather want to raise questions — to create space for wonder, intuition, and introspection. Using color and form, I seek to connect with something that is difficult to put into words, but can be felt. Most of my work is created digitally, in Procreate, although I also regularly work with physical paint. Each medium has its own atmosphere and possibilities, but the core remains the same: evoking feelings and stimulating the imagination. I never start with a white background. Instead, I let splashes of color emerge spontaneously, intuitively and without a fixed plan. From this jumble of shapes and shades, funny, playful figures gradually emerge — as if they are revealing themselves to me. That search is at the heart of my process. At first glance, my style appears childlike, but those who look deeper often discover subtle layers and symbolism. My work is quite unique; there are few artists who work in this way. I draw inspiration from the animal kingdom, among other things, which is full of wonderful shapes and characters.
